Terms of Service

Effective October 5, 2026

Using ProBid

ProBid provides tools to draft and manage estimates, proposals, invoices, client signatures, scheduling and payments for service businesses. You must be authorized to act for the business whose account you use and provide accurate account information. Keep your sign-in credentials secure and tell us if you believe your account has been compromised.

Your documents and clients

You control the content you enter or generate in ProBid, including prices, work descriptions, product specifications, taxes, warranties, client details and payment terms. Review every document before sending it. Generated suggestions may be incomplete or inaccurate and are not professional legal, tax or business advice. You are responsible for obtaining any permissions needed to use your clients’ information and for honoring the agreements you make with them. ProBid’s service terms do not replace the terms in an individual estimate or invoice between you and your client.

Signatures and communications

ProBid lets recipients review and electronically sign documents, and lets account holders see when document emails are opened and when shared documents are viewed. You are responsible for sending documents to the right people and for meeting any legal requirements that apply to electronic signatures, notices and recordkeeping in your jurisdiction. Email delivery and open signals are not guaranteed proof that a recipient read a document.

Subscriptions and payments

Paid access requires a subscription. Current prices and the billing period are displayed before checkout. Subscriptions renew for the selected period until canceled; you can manage or cancel yours through Billing in your account. Cancellation stops future renewal, while access generally continues through the already-paid period. Payment processing is provided by Stripe. Contractors who connect their own Stripe accounts remain responsible for their customer charges, refunds, disputes, taxes and applicable payment-provider obligations. ProBid does not set or guarantee the prices or tax calculations in your customer documents.

Acceptable use

Do not use the service for fraud, unlawful activity, spam, unauthorized access, or content that violates another person’s rights. Do not interfere with the service or attempt to bypass access or payment controls. We may restrict access when needed to protect the service or comply with law.

Availability and changes

We work to keep ProBid available, but cannot promise uninterrupted service or that every generated draft, message, alert or payment will succeed. Features and these terms may change; material changes will be posted here with a new effective date. Continued use after a change takes effect means you accept the updated terms.
